Call Notes
Task 1: RFP Template
- Content developed last year: [JTC_Delivery_WG_-_Online_Training_Contract_Language]
- Zac to check with other MJOs on any updated RFP/contract language that they're using for online courses
Task 2: ADA/508 Compliance Support
- ADA webinar: 12-2 Eastern on March 23
- Zac to schedule as a class on the LMS; Zac to get a draft agenda from Communications WG, and schedule on the LMS
- Do we still need to have legal consultation during the webinar from TX staff? TBD
Task 3: Instructors/SME List
- Jeff recently found about that Jerry Crowder is no longer going to teach APTI 482; we need a new trainer for this course
- Discussion on recruiting trainers; we should directly ask some of the bigger consulting firms if they can do it
- Discussion on how to figure out which classes need SME support for update/review of materials, and which class need new trainings; this work needs to be informed by demand, we don't want to put efforts into courses that don't have a demand
- Zac suggests that we expand the RFQ scope include both trainers and SMEs
- Discussion on cross referencing course demand, material vintage, and instructor depth
- NESCAUM is looking at the course demand (based on course requests from air directors), and where we need to update the materials
- EPA doesn’t have a clear way for an MJO to update a course and integrate into the LMS
- Kara to track down course materials list over the past few months to determine where we may need SME support
- Jeff to compile demand from the MJOs - what course are we offering over the last 5 years, and what’s the plan for the upcoming year
- MJOs to send Jeff their most recent course needs assessments to help gauge demand
- Zac to draft RFQ language for trainers and SMEs
- Who does this go to? Zac suggested MJOs reach out to in-region: state/local air agencies, EPA regional offices, universities, AWMA chapters, trade group, public/private consortiums, consultants
Task 4: Evaluations
- Zac sent Word versions of in-class and online evaluations to the LMS workgroup last week
- Chris to check on the status of implementation
Task 5: Training Delivery Lifecycle
- No discussion this month
