April Action Items
- Best practices: draft is developed, will go online in the next couple of months
- Instructor list: working through the process to contact instructors; creating email/talking points to use to contact the instructor community
- Online classes: working with the MJOs on procurement and project scope
Best-Practices guide for online training
- Webinars by training officers consortium in field of virtual training; recorded versions are out there
- Kara will put in the wiki and Zac to add links; target having a version ready to share with the community in June
Instructor list update
- List of instructors is with Jeff, Sarah, and Brian
- Talking points are being developed
- EPA may have constraints on how much effort they can put into this effort
Instructor-lead online delivery discussion
- MOVES training online: adverse comments were on connectivity and speed
- Best practices: need to have a way to communicate with the students, need to have two people;
- Send eval results to the group
- Pre-recorded lectures and live office hours or chatting with the instructor
- 3rd party production
- Combine self-instruction and live content delivery
