Action Items

  • John – revise the straw proposal with input provided by the JTC (March 4 version is attached, but John is updating it. I will send the new version once it is updated.)
  • JTC members – review revised Straw Proposal – are major items, activities, and outcomes addressed? – and provide feedback to John
  • JTC members – contact John if you are interested in being a co-lead of the Steering Committee, WGs, or Course Update Team
  • Mary Ann – schedule a follow up meeting Fri., March 22 at 1 pm ET
  • Mary Ann – send list of WG members to Zac, Julie, Kara and John
  • Zac – develop and deliver a webinar on using the wiki for JTC
  • Kara – provide instructor list to Zac for use on the Training Delivery WG

Call Notes

  • Need a Steering Committee co-lead
    • Front-heavy commitment – work on communication structure, determining work group charges/goals, defining success; approx.. 4-5 hrs/wk
    • Maintenance mode – coordination, organizing calls, checking in
  • Need co-leads for:
    • Planning and Support WG (co-lead Kara)
    • Curriculum WG
    • Course Update Teams
    • Training Delivery WG (co-lead Zac)
    • LMS WG (co-lead Julie)
  • AAPCA and NACAA will be represented on the Steering Committee by state/local training committee members
  • Concern about Steering Committee size – need to be able to do the work and if too many people, this will be difficult
